Oh Nelly Bath Jelly

Kids can have a blast with this jelly. They can scoop it out and toss into running water, paint the tub and themselves, glob onto a sponge or washcloth and dare we say…even bathe with it…the possibilities are endless.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup melted transparent melt & pour soap
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 envelope of Knox┬« unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 – 1/2 oz. fragrance oil
  • Water-based soap colorant
  • 3 or 4 small containers

Makes 16 ozs. or four – 4 oz. jars (Degree of difficulty: very easy)

Pour the envelope of Knox gelatin into a bowl and add 2 cups of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved and set aside. In the meantime, melt 1/2 cup of melt & pour soap in a clear glass measuring cup. Add fragrance and colorant to the melted soap and then add the soap to the gelatin/water mixture, stirring gently. Pour into container or jars and place in the refrigerator until firm. Store in the refrigerator until needed.
